Pocket Calculator corresponds with VoiceOver.
On the iPhone / iPad, you can select the VoiceOver typing style with the Settings app.
Since there is no way to know which typing style you are currently selecting from the application, please turn on the direct touch typing also in the application setting when using the direct touch typing.
Turn it off when you are selecting Standard Typing or Touch Typing.
Default is off.
